Tanesha Fagan, Acting Vice president Tanesha Fagan is currently employed as a Crime Scene Examiner to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), Jamaica. Her responsibilities include Crime Scene Management and providing expert witness testimony in court. She was awarded with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the Northern Caribbean University, Jamaica and subsequently a Master of Science in Forensic Science (Hons, Forensic Molecular Biology) from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.She is a Certified Crime Scene Analyst and an active member of the International Association of Identification. She is also certified in Firearm Test Firing & Functionality and as a DNA Retention Officer. She was also a recipient of a travel award to the International Association of Forensic Science Conference (2017) in Toronto where she did a poster presentation on her thesis “Y-STR Genetic Structure of the Most Common Surnames in Jamaica: Forensic Implications”.
